I don't know to much about either show but from what I understand Bones is supposed to be pretty funny and it looks like they are taking the same sort of stand with the finder, the fact it's shot in Florida where it's always sunny may also help with the enjoyability factor. The show will be based on a book named the Locator and has been picked up by Fox with an order of 13 episodes, the hope from producers is that the show will provide recurring characters who are both likable and that you want to see every week. I just ran across the trailer for it last week and the lead character Walter looks pretty funny, check out the video below and let me know what you think.
The show will star Geoff Stults (Bones, Wedding Crashers, How I Met Your Mother), Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile, The Island), for the pilot episode Saffron Burrows (Deep Blue Sea, The Bank Job) but she has confirmed that she won't be appearing in the series any further so they are still looking to re cast her role. As yet the show has not been picked up by any British network but Bones is shown here on Sky 1, so I would think they will see how it goes as Sky have made a big commitment to original British drama series lately.
