Well what can we say about Jai really, an unassuming guy 24 years old from the Ayeshire village of Tarbolton. Jai has never received any professional training or lessons in singing he only knows that when he sings it make him feel good.We first met Jai in the auditions when he performed "Anthem" for the judges, in the pre interview he admitted that he was nervous having never done anything like this before but, he did not let that stop him and sailed through to the semi finals.
As we know Jai performed in the semi's and sang Evenesance "Bring Me To Life", a big rock song. He toned it down and done a beautiful version with his big powerful voice. Up against Edward Reid the nursery rhyme singer and Steven Hall the dancer Jai won the public vote on the night securing his place in last nights final.
He has not been in the press at all really, and not a great deal has been said about him. All of the hype was going to Ronan Parke and he was hot favourite to take the show on the night. The press have really put him through it the last couple of days though since the story broke on Thursday about the blogger who claimed that Ronan had been secretly managed by Cowell for two years and the show was set up for him to win. We know that is of course not true even more so now that on the night Jai took the prize with a fantastic performance of Josh Grobans song "To Where You are". Enjoy.
