Movie Trailer: SAFE Starring Jason Statham

I blogged the other day that Mark Wahlberg was back to what he does best in new movie Contraband, now Jason Statham is back to what he does best to.  Playing a former elite agent who gets tangled up in everyone else’s problems, now that’s not like any Jason Statham movie you’ve ever seen is it?  No seriously though this does look like another impressive kick ass action flick keeping up the pace set in The Mechanic and Killer Elite.

Starring: Jason Statham, Catherine Chan, Chris Sarandon and Ansoun Mount

Statham plays Luke Wright a former Special Forces agent who is one day sitting minding his own business in a train station when he notices a bunch of guys following a little girl, clearly they are after her for something so Luke saves her and gets her to safety, problem is she knows the numbers required to get into a safe after she was shown them and stored them in her photographic memory.  Luke now has a two-teir mission, keep the girl safe from the Triads, and try to out-wit the Russian Mafia and corrupt NYC officials with the combination to the safe.

I know what your thinking, this is typical Jason Statham, you’re right it is but you do have to admit that he does it well, he currently pretty much owns this genre of movie.  You can guarantee that the story won’t be much but the action will be fast paced and kick ass.
